My cock, thicker.
Bella cries out and immediately starts to move against me, searching desperately for her next release. We’re perfect together, and we crave one another like fiends. So I bounce against her, savoring every inch my member glides up and down her walls, precome dripping from the tip.
My woman cries out again and drops off the edge. My motions grow fiercer, my release approaching with the promise of a strike like lightning. Gripping her hips for balance, I ride Bella until my balls squeeze my seed deep inside her, the burst of pleasure exploding on the back of my eyes with tiny white lights.
I drop over her with a sigh. But, as soon as I notice, I roll off from above her. Bella snuggles close to me, seeking my warmth as she does when we’re sleeping bundled together.
Breathing her scent in — a perfect mixture of her natural sweetness and the aroma of her arousal — I soak in how dazzling this woman is before I remember the breakfast on the bedside table.
“Don’t let the coffee grow cold, baby,” I whisper into her ear.
She shivers, a smile stretching on her face. “Thank you. You’re the best. I can’t believe it’s been a week and you’re still bringing me breakfast in bed.”
I snuggle her even closer. “I wish you never tire of it. The plan is doing this every day for the rest of our lives.”
Bella looks up at me, but she’s not grinning any longer. My heart grows heavy with the grave expression across her face. I touch a thumb to her lower lip, attempting a soft smile.
“Is everything all right?” My heart beats out of rhythm beneath her palm, fear of scaring her away ever-present.
Bella adjusts herself, propping up on an elbow. She looks straight into my eyes, and I can feel her reading into my very soul.
Then a smile, that smile I will always love, opens up on her face. “I’ve just noticed something.”
“What, baby?”
“I was thinking about how you spoil me and make me feel safe, and how you’re always worried about me.” She makes small circles over one of my pecs. “Then I thought how I loved this, you know? How I love being with you. How I love…” Her eyes snap up to meet mine. “How I love you.”
Her words pierce me and I feel emotion clogging my throat, wetting my eyes.
She loves me.
Folding my arms around her, I clash our mouths together and kiss the air out of her. She lets me, taking me in her arms and hugging me for dear life.
“I love you,” I whisper, rolling her so I hover over her. “I love you so much.”
“I love you too.” She grins into the kiss and it only incites me to kiss her harder. “I really do. I didn’t even notice when it began.”
“It matters not, baby girl.” I pull back so I can look deeply into her eyes. Pulling her legs around my waist, my cock nudges at her entrance, ready to go again. “Let’s be together forever, my beautiful, beautiful woman. Marry me. Marry me and let’s face this world like one.”
Her eyes widen and for a moment I think she won’t accept it. She has just told me she loves me. We’ve been together for a week. Things are moving so fast. But a smile opens up again and she nods. “I will, but only if you agree on marking me.”
My jaw slackens. “Are you sure?”
She nods several times, biting her lower lip in that manner I love.
Stamping my mouth down on hers, I slide inside her waiting cunt with a hungry groan. She moans in satisfaction.
“I have a pair of rings,” I tell her, kissing her cheek. “But they will have to wait too. Let me mate my bride.”
And with her mellow voice in my ear, I let my bear come closer and bite her down. Her gasp turns into a moan in a second. And to think this is just the beginning.
The beginning of the rest of our lives.
EPILOGUE
BELLA
ONE YEAR LATER
Closing a hand around my swollen lower belly, I close my eyes and focus. It is the oddest, most gratifying, most glorious feeling in the world to feel the movement inside me. Subtle, almost as if he doesn’t want to bother me.
My son turns inside my belly, and I just savor the moment for a while. I let the sensation take me, lull me. I have never imagined this could feel so amazing. Being a mom. Never thought I’d be able to.
A pair of big hands curl over my own, covering my fingers with his permanent, sweet presence. Because Dorian said he’d stay and stay he did.
For a year now he’s been in my life. Ever warm, ever-devoted. There are no reasons to doubt his love, his fierce, exquisite love. He loves me so much it’s like a bright sun inside my home. It warms me, from the inside out. It burns away all my doubts and fears. He is. He just is.
“Is he moving?” He calls with a whisper as if he might wake the baby.
I chuckle, opening my eyes to meet his passionate gaze. After we found out about the pregnancy, he started to touch me much more gingerly. As if I’m a porcelain doll. It required a great deal of convincing before he agreed to take me the way he enjoyed — rough and filthy.
“He is. But you don’t need to speak like this,” I stage-whisper, holding back a laugh.
Dorian squats in front of me, his gaze on my face. He still holds the same adoration, the same love. It seems to grow every day. From the very first time, we never spend long hours apart. He works in shifts so he can come home every three or four hours to stay with me. We kiss, he tells me sweet nothings as I melt against his chest for fifteen minutes, then he parts again. In the beginning, when we were too eager about having one another, so we used the time to mate.
The pregnancy came as a surprise, but not because we didn’t want it. It surprised us for taking so long. Our mating has only ever happened without birth control. It’s taken six months for our baby boy to show up.
And the pregnancy has made us the happiest couple around.
Dorian’s clan — our neighbors — are ecstatic. A couple have wives, some with their own bumps, and we spend loads of time together. We have barbecues and hike trails and bond.
But when night comes and Dorian’s bear has had enough, it’s just the two of us, and he takes me and makes me scream his name.
Dorian leans closer to my belly. “Daddy can’t wait to have you here, son.”
Our baby twists harder and stretches an arm. The tiny hand presses against me from the inside and I gasp, feeling him reaching out, almost as if he wants to touch his daddy. I pull my hand back so Dorian can feel it, and he grins. He grins so widely the corners of his eyes crinkle with joy.
“Are you ready to be a father?” I rub a thumb over his knuckles. On the back of his ring finger, he has tattooed a cursive B for Bella, in place of a ring. He’s lost two suddenly shifting into a bear to shoo other shifters in the park.
Dorian shakes his head. “Not really, baby. I have read every book and article on the subject and yet, I don’t feel prepared at all. I wish one of my brothers had already had a kid. They could help me with it.”
“I know, right?” I let a sigh escape between my teeth. “Not only raising a child but a cub! I have no idea how to do that. There aren’t many books on the subject,” I say with a smile.
Dorian grins and leans to kiss me. “We’ll figure it out together. What matters the most is that we’re home. We’re family, and we’ll find a way.”
“We will.” I slide to the edge of the couch, parting my legs to receive him. “You are the best thing that’s ever happened in my life, you know?”
He hugs me, burying his face into my neck and taking deep breaths. A rumble crosses from his chest to mine and I know that’s his bear. He gets moved when I say things like these. It makes me swoon.
“I don’t know what I’ve done to deserve you,” he breathes into my ear. “All I know is that I’m grateful you gave us a chance. And I’ll keep making you the happiest woman alive.”
I tilt my head to look at him. “You will?” The words are said with a wiggle of my hips, seeking his member.
Dorian bar
es his teeth and groans, readjusting so his hardness finds my center. “You know how to undo me.”
“Bed?” I ask, biting my lower lip.
“If I hold back long enough to get there,” he protests, picking me up and striding into the bedroom. Giggling like a schoolgirl, I let him rip the dress off my body, and my husband takes me with fury and love on every jerk of his hips. I tumble off the edge in mere minutes.
Being with him is safe and warm, and perfect. I didn’t know what home was until he claimed me, and now there’s nothing else I wish for.
